School Presentations

classroomThe Charles County Office of Recycling offers free school presentations for all grades. Our interactive presentation is geared towards emphasizing the benefits of recycling and waste prevention in a fun and easy-to-understand program. Our 40 minute presentation can include:

We can speak to an entire grade level, combined students, or just one class. Generally a group smaller than 125 is preferred. For your convenience, someone from our office will come to your school and give the presentation. Just email our office to request a date and time, and please give us your name and number. We look forward to visiting your school!

Civic Groups & Community Organizations

The Charles County Office of Recycling wants to speak to your civic group or community organization about the benefits of recycling and waste prevention. A representative from our bureau will attend your function and deliver a 45 to 60 minute presentation, plus:

And this is all FREE! Just email our office to arrange a date and time for the presentation. Please include your name, daytime telephone number, date and time of your function, and any other useful information. All requests are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. Fairs & Festivals

The Charles County Office of Recycling is available to attend fairs and festivals in the Charles County area. We'll come to your event, set up our display booth, plus:

All of this is FREE of charge! We are available for indoor or outdoor events and have certain booth space requirements, depending on the event. We schedule our attendance on a first come, first served basis.
