After much feedback from our residents, Charles County Government has improved our Internet Online Payments solution. You can pay for all previous items and as a bonus, Visa is now accepted for Utility payments. There are no additional costs to the payee at this time. Credit Card Chargebacks and/or Returned E-Checks will be subject to a $35.00 fee. Always print a copy for your records.

Charles County residents may now use a credit card to pay any of the following bills electronically.
This program uses the services of Govolutions LLC, and takes full advantage of internet security in the handling of your credit card information. Choose one of the appropriate pay buttons, and you will be automatically transferred to the Govolutions LLC web site.
NOTE: The amount due for Utility & Property Taxes should be verified prior to making any online payments.

TELPHONE PAYMENT OPTIONS
To pay your tax or utility bill account by phone, simply call 866-692-6828. Be sure to have your account information and billing invoice(s) readily available. The system relies on accuracy of this information to process a valid transaction. Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted for this option only. No American Express at this time. Please note, Govolutions LLC charges a fee for this service that is not collected by Charles County Government. For tax items, the fee is 2.50% of the transaction amount, and for Water/Sewer payments it’s a flat fee of $4.95 per item.
